About Me: Hi my name is Tom Robinson. I live in Maycomb, Alabama, and work for Mr. Link Deas. I am married and have children. I am accused of raping Miss Mayella Ewell. I would like everyone to know that I am an innocent man and would never do such a thing. My town is very prejudice, but Atticus Finch, a very honorable man, is defending me in court. Many people don't think Atticus should defend me in this case, but he believes in racial equality and is willing to do what is right.
