About the Author  Harper Lee

Page history last edited by Lisa Nocita 11 years, 9 months ago

Create an author webpage for Harper Lee and Monroe County, Alabama. These can be one page or separate pages.  Information on Harper Lee must include: a biography, rationale for writing To Kill a Mockingbird, other written works, and any other information that you feel makes Harper Lee unique as an author and person.

Although Maycomb is a fictitious setting, it was patterened after Monroe County, Alabama.  Information should include details that add to the text of To Kill a Mockingbird.  You should include any pertinent information to the time period or the location of the novel’s setting.  The page may be written as a historical webpage, as information about a tourist destination, or as a continuation of Harper Lee’s page.
